I was playing with My Maps from Google and I created this not perfect map of the City Limits of Yorba Linda.

Next I might try making a trail map.

IT’S FREE! and good for the environment too

I will be the first to admit that I am NOT even close to being the poster child for living “Green”. That said there is a FUN and EASY way to recycle those items you don’t need so they won’t end up in your local land fill.

With a click of your mouse you can find previously loved items for yourself and clean out your closet at the same time. Recycling unwanted household items is just one way to not only help our environment but also find a few cool things to call your own. As they say “One mans junk is another mans treasures”.

The Freecycle Network is a website/bulletin board that you can post items you no longer need to be “gifted” to someone else. You can also find some pretty cool things for yourself as well. The Fullerton Freecycle Group caters to the Yorba Linda area and can be found at: http://www.freecycle.org.

You can also find recycle items on Craigslist found at: http://orangecounty.craigslist.org in the FOR SALE area under FREE.

So next time you think about tossing out those old books or that unused keyboard think about recycling them instead.
