Christmas Lights in Yorba Linda

by Kristi on December 11, 2008

My daughter just turned three this week and is quite old enough to make her wishes known. Loudly, in most cases.

Lately it has to do with driving down particular streets that have homes covered in Christmas lights.  One of these days I want to take an hour or so and go driving up and down the streets with her so she can say, “YOOK, Mama, yook!!! More Kissmiss lights!!” over and over again. :-) Those words are so cute to hear. I know we definitely have to go check out the John Roberts’ Christmas Light Extravaganza and also donate a toy for the Spark of Love drive.

Luckily, a street around our neighborhood (Todd Avenue) currently has about 70% of the homes covered and is great to drive down around 6:30pm.  You can get to it easily from Avenida Adobe. The top of Granby Drive has a blowup Santa sled in one home and a train right across from them – both houses extremely decorated. I hope this weekend a few more will be added on to make the street complete! There is also some great air blowup Mickey & Minnie, Santa, and Snoopy at the corner of Avenida Adobe and New River.  Stonehaven Drive (by the retirement center and daycare) also looks pretty good!

Please comment and let me know what streets are decorated up in your area so I can delight my preschooler with some awesome sights.
