The Race for City Council elections of 2010 has officially began. The dead line to file candidacy papers was Friday August 6th 2010 at 5pm. Two city council seats are available. John Anderson and Jan Horton are up for re-election this year. 6 people have officially turned in their papers for candidacy.
I have compiled a list of links for each of the candidates. I also invite all the candidates to be interviewed here on why they should earn your vote. If you have any questions you would like us to ask them please leave a comment below or email us.

John Anderson was reported that he would not run for re-election by Jim Drummond of the OC Register twice here &here. Supposedly John had 60-85 people meet him at City Council office to sign papers for candidacy and he has fans on his facebook page “begging” him to run for re-election. If anyone has pictures showing this many people I would love to see them.

There is no relation between Brenda McCune and Tim McCune
Gosh I am sure Mr. Anderson has photos of all those people! of course I happened to be there….and I must have missed them. Dang I would have loved to see that!!!!! I had no idea he was so popular!
Of course I guess their is a very real possibility he just made that up.
WOW……….. harsh, jealous people…. I saw the pictures and as ALWAYS Mayor Anderson is telling the truth, perhaps the other incumbent should try it…
