Our prayers go out to the Welch family. Army Spc. Jonathan D. Welch was Killed in Action in Afghanistan. Our family is grateful for his service to this Country and all he sacrificed for us and our Nation.
Army Spc. Jonathan D. Welch, 19, Yorba Linda, Calif.; died Monday in Shuyene Sufia, Afghanistan, when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive; he was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.
Our family’s heart breaks for the Welch family. We have not experienced a loss like this ourselves, but our family has military veterans of our own. We our Proud of the sacrifices and thankful to the Welch Family and Jonathan for all that they have given.
They will continue to be in our prayers
