I feel like this is an event that the community should be behind. I don't know how much it costs to put on, it can't be that much, but I feel that is is worth the expenditure. Why would you ask? This is exactly what the City needs to do to keep the townfolk together. This is THE best city-wide event of the year! It's free to attend, you can support your local non-profits, it's a great social event, and support the good old USA. I rather support this event with my tax dollars than another committee or specialist or study, wasting our dollars for no apparant reason.
