This is the first candidate night to meet the nine individuals running for the Yorba Linda City Council.
It will be held October 1st at the Yorba Linda Community Center sponsored by the Yorba Linda Country Riders. They anticipate the forum will begin after a short business session. Plan to be there about 7:30 pm.
This forum is open to the entire community and will be less formal than the candidate night sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce (That date has not been announced). Become actively involved in choosing your representatives by listening to them in the various forums and ask them questions about things that concern you. Make an informed decision and become involved!
The candidates will be running for three seats in this election season. Jim Winder and Hank Wedaa are both incumbents and are running again. Hank had to run again because he filled Mike Duvalls seat after Mike got elected to the Assembly. There was only 18 months remaining on that term. Alan Castellano is not running and his seat will be up for election.
