Shop Yorba Linda

Shop until you drop, and those who shop in Yorba Linda can now reap rewards. As a way to support local businesses and generate tax revenue for the city of Yorba Linda, the Business Development Service Division of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce is kicking off a Shop Yorba Linda campaign called Yorba Linda…We’re Kind of a Big Deal.  The campaign is designed to create excitement and awareness for Yorba Linda restaurants and retailers.

Yorba Linda…We’re Kind of a Big Deal was introduced to the community by Heather Francine, chair of the Business Development Division on Tuesday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Yorba Linda City Council meeting.  The campaign officially began yesterday March 17 2010.  It was also be unveiled to local businesses at the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce monthly networking mixer on Thursday, March 18 at 5:30 p.m. at M Foscari Restaurant located at 5645 E. La Palma Ave. in Anaheim.

“The Business Development Service Division of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce is excited to launch the campaign after many months of planning,” said Francine.  “It is a fun way to feature some of our local businesses in the community and offer great deals to reward those who shop in Yorba Linda.”

So what’s the Big Deal?  Every two weeks there will be a featured Big Deal that will be promoted and sent to everyone that has enrolled in the program. These Big Deals will come from restaurants and retailers in the city that are members of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce.  There will also be ongoing deals that the public can enjoy throughout the year.  The first Big Deal offered on March 17 is from Jabez Salon.

Residents can receive the special offers by signing up at a participating retailer or visiting the campaign Web site.  Upon signing up, residents will receive a fob for their keychain that entitles them to special promotions when shown at participating retailers.  Yorba Linda…We’re Kind of  a Big Deal recyclable tote bags will also be available for purchase for $1 at retailers throughout the city.

250 Free tote bags will be given away at Wish Boutique, Stefanos Hams, and Jabez Salon. I would bet that most will be gone by this weekend so hurry up and get yours.
