A reader sent an email letting us know that Vons on Valley View and YL Blvd will be closing. The final date is unknown but I imagine it is probably by the end of the year I would guess. I have confirmed this through other sources.
Will anything replace it? We have no information at this time but I would bet that other business are looking at that location.
Why is it closing. My guess is that the store never recovered from the last grocery strike and lost most of it’s business to Trader Joe’s, Sprouts/ Henry’s and Stater Brothers
