This Tuesday is Inauguration Day, Jan 20th 2009.
The museum will open its doors one hour early at 9 a.m. for patrons wanting to watch the live swearing-in ceremony and inauguration speech on a 52-inch, high definition television outside the museum’s presidential inauguration exhibit.
The Nixon Presidential Library &Museum is at 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd. In celebration of the inauguration, admission to the library will be free from 9 to 10 a.m. Chairs will be set up in front of the television to accommodate about 40 to 50 guests. Seating is first-come, first-serve.
The library is typically open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
