Giving Hope to "At Risk" Teens
Friends Church presents a fashion show to benefit the neighborhood ministry on Cypress St. The fashion show will feature high school students from local high schools including our Cypress St. teens. They will exhibition the newest fashions for the season.

The Cause:
Transforming the community with young leaders
Our High School students have discovered that by working alongside and mentoring the kids in the Cypress St. neighborhood, they too, given the opportunity, are potential student leaders. Having their peers come alongside them has proved to be a tremendous self-esteem builder and is a very effective tool for developing the framework for making good moral decisions. The biggest need we all have is to be loved and that is exactly what these kids are doing – giving back to their community by loving others.
Relationships have already been developed by: Friday family movie nights, Baseball game field trips, USC Football game field trips, Mini street soccer tournaments, Street festivals, Thanksgiving Feasts, Back to school shopping sprees, and summer and winter camps. 
Please help us come along side our friends and support our efforts.
Cost:
$15 presale or $20 at the door.

There will be vendor booths and an after party as well as music provided by local musicians including former students.
