Buy a .22 and take care of the problem your self.

> There needs to be a law against feeding wild-life and a fine imposed when people aren’t in compliance.

More governmet that should take care of it..

Since I wrote this story and placed it on the internet with a couple of photos, I have learned more about why we have an explosion of Domestic Rabbits and Coyotes. I suggest you read that article. Above I have provided a link for you. Multiple neighbors have been feeding them. Now two of these neighbors recently have been pulling out their shrubs and putting in hard-landscape which has disrupted the rabbits homes. The female rabbits are un-spaded and producing a litter of bunnies every 31 days.
There are a least 4 neighbors who have been feeding these rabbits and last night I saw one mother come out of her hole with 5 off springs. Shortly after 9:00 PM I saw a coyote and soon after 2 additional Coyotes showed up. I knew they were after the mother rabbit and her 5-young. The Coyotes diligently dug at the rabbits dean opening wide the mouth of their safe haven. I don't know exactly what the end was because I'm watching all this from security cameras monitor in our home.
I also saw a young woman turn the corner walking towards the Coyotes so I got into my vehicle and pulling up to her and told her about the Coyotes. I than asked her where she lived and told her it would be best that she return home. I followed her for a while until she felt safe.
This morning around 7AM when I went out to see what damage had been done to our landscape by the rabbits eating our recently planted hedges, I saw a Coyote on the opposite corner lot across the street.
If you walk this area you will see lawns literally covered with rabbit dung and the lawns eaten to the routes. A couple of these neighbors stated they didn't care about their lawns and shrubs and that seems to justify their feeding these now wild rabbits.
Around 8 AM while I was sitting at our kitchen counter eating, a bunny that I saw last night with its mother came scampering in front of the patio in front of the door. I went out to take a closer look at it, but it scampered under the wooden fence onto the street side of our property. I'm sure last night the Coyotes got some of the bunnies and maybe even the mother rabbit.
There needs to be a law against feeding wild-life and a fine imposed when people aren't in compliance. There also needs to be a law against releasing domestic pets of any kind anywhere. If you want rabbits keep them in a cage. Domestic female rabbits should be spaded.
I also have much to say about the selfishness of others imposing there need to feed these critters and the damage it causes to all properties surrounding. It isn't a kind act it is a selfish one.
