This coming October 25th 2008 will be a fiesta in Yorba Linda. That’s when the City and a number of assisting community organizations celebrate our community’s heritage by sponsoring the Fiesta Days Parade and Family Faire.
Hopefully this year it won’t be canceled due to thick smoke from fires as it was last year.
The Parade – featuring local youth organizations, bands, and dignitaries – starts at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain View and Yorba Linda Boulevard (near the Richard Nixon Presidential Library), and travels westbound to Valley View Avenue turning north and ending at Veterans Park.
The Family Faire, held at Yorba Linda Middle School’s athletic field, features live entertainment, a kids’ play zone, and great food. The Faire also starts at 10:00 a.m. and continues until 3:00 p.m.
Community groups are encouraged to be a part of the celebration by entering the parade or operating a game, food, craft, or information booth. To participate, print one or more of the following applications forms and submit them to the City.

Hi! I’d like to participate by have a booth set up at The Fiesta Days Parade, as a resident for 25 years and actually a participant in the parade while growing up I’d love to support the community. I also would like to donate a portion of my profits back to the city. Please forward me the application to participate with a booth or I can pick up (where can I pick up?). Thank you in advance!
