Yorba Linda High School Boundaries to be Re-Considered

According the the PYLUSD web site the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District Board of Education will re-consider the Yorba Linda High School boundaries that were approved on February 10th. A meeting will be held at 7:00pm, February 24th in the district office Board Room located at 1301 E. Orangethorpe in Placentia.

This is the information posted on the PYLUSD web site as of February 12, 2009:

On February 10, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District Board of Education took action to approve new high school boundaries.

Following a review of this matter, it was determined that the specific plan approved by the Board was not reflected in the posted agenda as specified in the Brown Act.

Thus, the Board of Education will take new action and adopt high school boundary adjustments for the district commencing in the 2009-2010 school year. The action will be taken at the February 24 meeting which will take place at 7 p.m. in the district office Board Room located at 1301 E. Orangethorpe in Placentia, or an alternate location to be determined. The agenda will be available on the district website 72 hours prior to the meeting and at regular agenda posting locations.
