Yorba Linda High School – Mascot & Colors Finalists

Finalists for the Yorba Linda High School Mascot and Colors were announced this week.

The colors up for vote: dark navy blue, red, silver and black.

The mascots and their color combinations will be on display in the Yorba Linda Community Center, 4501 Casa Loma Ave., from Sept. 8 to Sept. 26. The public is welcome to look at the presentations and vote on a card for their favorite mascot. The votes will be tallied to determine the finalist.

I vote for Yorba Linda Mustangs and the navy blue / red color combination. This is Yorba Linda Horse country of course, why should they be any doubt but the Yorba Linda Mustangs!

    I vote for the Diamondbacks… This has a good ring to it and is not used as a mascott too often…. Oh, the logo is very sharp.

    2nd choice is the Mustangs, cute but, it just does not sound right…

    Definately not the Jags…. ewwwww

    By the way, I will be having a freshman going there – opening year.

    I like the Diamond Back..It has a good ring to it. I am woundering if the first year there gonna have all four years of the highschool or just have Freshmen and Sophmores? Thanks

    The Mustangs actually came out to be the winning choice.

    I don’t know for sure but from what I have heard is that it
    will be Freshman and Sophomores to start.
